Below are definitions of terms as used on this site.

Organizer: the main person or people who run the event. Usually there is one person who acts as host and the public "face" of the seminar.

Seats: the maximum number of people who can attend the event, not including the speakers and staff. This is not the number of tickets left for the event!

Speakers: people who are advertised as being presenters at the event. The speaker list is always subject to change without notice due to illness or other causes. Sometimes a speaker has been invited to appear but has not yet officially accepted; we will indicate this with "(invited)". Often there are unannounced or "mystery" speakers.

Price: the official stated cost to buy a ticket to the event. Sometimes the price changes (usually up) as the event date gets closer, and discounts are sometimes available, so this number should be seen as the highest price or "suggested retail price" you should pay to attend. The price does not include travel, hotel, or meals, except as indicated.

Deadline: the official last day you can sign up for the event. For many events, you can register at the door. In these cases we will omit a deadline or list it as "none".
